RRB Secunderabad ALP Technician Exam Syllabus 2017, RRB Secunderabad Assistant Loco Pilot and Technician Grade.III Exam Syllabus 2017, Paper pattern.
The Government of India, Railway Recruitment Board, was released the Assistant Loco Pilot and Technician Gr. III Notification in the year 2014. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) Secunderabad has conducted the exam for the posts of (1) Assistant Loco Pilot and (2) Technician in the year 2015. As per previous notification we have provided the exam pattern is given below :
The question paper pattern is of objective type and would contain 100-120 questions and 1/3 marks would be deducted for the wrong answers. Un-attempted questions will not carry any negative marking. The RRB Secunderabad exam question paper will be provided in English, Hindi and other regional languages.
RRB Secunderabad ALP and Technician Syllabus
Merit list is taken from the over all marks obtained, covering all the subjects. Qualifying in each subject is not essential. The exam paper will contain questions from 6 different topics, which are as follows :
- Arithmetic’s
- Reasoning
- General Awareness
- Stock General Knowledge
- Current Affairs
- Technical Subjects
Arithmetic:
Arithmetic/ mathematics is one of the very important subjects in the exam. The subject would contain approximately 20-25 questions.
Reasoning:
The purpose of this topic is to test one’s reasonable thinking ability skills. This subject would contain 10-15 questions, approx.
General Awareness:
In General Awareness, questions will come from the subjects of History, Politics, Geography and General Sciences. 10-15 questions can be expected from this topic.
General Knowledge:
In General Knowledge questions will be asked from the topics of National and International Sports, Rivers, Oceans, National Highway Roads, Climates/ Weather, Book Authors, Awardees, etc. 10-15 questions can be expected from this topic.
Current affairs:
Current affairs would carry questions on the day to day events/ activities around us. Affairs/ events dated to 3 months prior to the exam would carry much importance in the exam. So, it is important to have awareness on the current affairs prior to 3 months of the exam date. It is also important to take notes on major events from the reputed news paper on daily basis. One can also prepare from any of the well known monthly magazines. 5-10 questions can be expected from this topic.
Technical Subjects:
Here, questions will be from the subjects of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electronics Design, Production Technology, I.C. Engines, Thermodynamics, etc. Approximately, 40-50 questions can be expected from this subject. As, majority of the questions come from this topic, more efforts and focus should be given on this topic.
