RRB TC Exam Syllabus

The Railway Recruitment Board has conducted the exam for Ticket Collector posts, the examination consists of 100 Objective type of questions from the following subjects.

• General Intelligence

General Awareness : In this type, the questions is coming from the following topics..,

1. Current Affairs (National and International)
2. Major Financial/ Economics News
3. Budget and Five Year Plans
4. Sports
5. Books and Authors
6. Awards and Honor
7. Science – Inventions and Discoveries
8. Abbreviations
9. Important Days
10. International and National Organizations

Arithmetic : In this type, questions will be given in the mathematical skills of the candidates and following is the topics from which the questions asked.

1. Number System
2. HCF, LCM
3. Simplification
4. Decimal Fractions
5. Ratio and Proportions
6. Unitary Methods
7. Percentages
8. Time and Distance
9. Time and Work
10. Profit and Lose
11. Average
12. Simple and Compound Interest
13. Mensuration (2D and 3D)
14. Algebra
15. Data Interpretation

Technical Ability : In this type, the examiner will be test the knowledge of the candidates about the profession and some technical questions will be given.

Reasoning/ Aptitude/ Mental Ability :
In this type of questions asked to test of reasoning abilities and from Verbal and Non-Verbal aptitude test of the person.

General Intelligence : This part usually tries to test the General Intelligence of the Person.
