In the year 2014, the Railway Recruitment Board Sec had released the notification of CEN. 01/2018, for Assistant Loco Pilot and Technician Gr.III posts. We are aware that this year 2018, a lot of candidates are awaiting the RRB Secunderabad ALP notification 2018. RRB Secunderabad has released the Notification for the posts of Assistant Loco Pilot and Technician Gr.III released on 03.02.2018. All eligible candidates can apply on RRB Secunderabad ALP Technician online Application 2018 at rrbsecunderabad.nic.in or http://www.rly-rect-appn.in/alptech2017/index.html on or before 31.03.2018 upto 23.59 hrs.

• Name of the Post : Assistant Loco Pilot & Technician
• No. of Vacancies – 3262 (ECoR – 185 and SCR: 3077)
• Mode of Application submission: Online

Syllabus for the examination will be from the Technical stream. The information on how to apply, age limit, educational qualification, application fee are given below, taking reference from the notification:

Age Limit :
Candidates age should be between 18 and 28 years (As per Govt. rules, age relaxation for OBC Candidates is 3 years and 5 years for SC/ST category candidates). See the official notification for complete details on age.

Educational Qualification :
(i) For ALP Post :
Matriculation and a Course completed in Apprenticeship Industrial Training Institute approved National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT)/ State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT) in the Trades (Fitter/ Electrician/ Instrument Mechanic/ Millwright Maintenance Mechanic/ Mechanic Radio & TV / Electronics Mechanic/ Mechanic Motor Vehicle/ Wire man/ Tractor Mechanic/ Armature & Coil Winder/ Mechanic Diesel/ Heat Engine/ Turner/ Machinist/ Refrigeration & AC Mechanic) (OR)

Diploma in Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical/ Automobile Engineering recognized by the Industrial Training Institute/ All India Council for Technical Education.

Further, the Candidates with Higher Educational Qualification in Electrical/ Electronic/ Mechanical/ Automobile Engineering recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education are also eligible to apply.

(ii) For Technician Gr.III Post :

Senior Secondary (10+2) School Certificate Examination / Higher Secondary (XII) Certificate Examination / Intermediate Examination with Physics and Mathematics (OR)

Three years Diploma in Engineering in Electrical/ Electronics/ Microprocessor/ T.V. Engineering/ Fiber Optical Communication / Telecommunication/ Communication/ Sound and Television Engineering/ Industrial Control/ Electronic Instrumentation/ Industrial Electronics/ Applied Electronics/ Digital Electronics/ Power Electronics/ Information Science/ Information Technologies/ Computer Application/ Computer Engineering/ Computer Science/ Computer Technology approved by the All India Council for Technical Education.

Instrument Mechanic/ Millwright Maintenance Mechanic/ Mechanic/ Mechanic Motor Vehicle/ Wire man/ Tractor Mechanic/ Armature & Coil Winder/ Mechanic Diesel/ Heat Engine/ Turner/ Machinist/ Refrigeration & AC Mechanic)

As you are aware, Railway Recruitment Board Secunderabad has been releasing both Technical and Non-Technical notifications every year. However, in the year 2018-19 there was disappointment among many candidates, as RRB has released the notification for the posts of  ASM, Goods Guard posts. Hence, there is a lot of expectation among candidates, this year, for the notification for the posts of ALP from RRB Secunderabad. Application Fee :
Pay Rs. 500/- for General and OBC category candidates (Rs. 250/- for SC/ ST/ Ex-Serviceman / PWDs/ Female/ Transgender/ Minorities/ Economically Backward Classes. This Fee’s shall be duly deducting bank charges as applicable, on appearing in First Stage CBT (Computerized Based Test) through internet banking/ credit card/ debit card on or before 05.03.2018 till 22.00 hrs. You can also pay through SBI Bank Challan, before on 05.03.2018 at 13.00 hrs/ Post Office Challan Payment mode on or before 03.03.2018 at 13.00 hrs.
