The Indian Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) was released the Centralized Employment Notice No.01/2015 on 27.06.2015, for the post of Junior Engineer (JE), Depot Material Superintendent, Chemical Metallurgical Assistant, Chief Depot Material Superintendent and Senior Section Engineer Posts. Based on this notification we have provided the RRB JE SSE Syllabus and Paper Pattern. If the syllabus may changes in the upcoming notification, we have intimate you.

RRB JE SSE Syllabus, Paper Pattern

• Arithmetic
• General Science & Intelligence
• General Awareness
• Technical Ability

The RRB Junior Engineer (JE) and Senior Section Engineer (SSE) exam question paper carry with total 150 marks, out of which 90 questions will be Technical Ability and General Science & 60 questions from General Awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence and Reasoning. In the remaining 90 questions shall cover on the technical portion i.e., basic concepts of Science and Engineering from all the branches/ disciplined of educational qualifications. We have expected, in the upcoming notifications, the examinations will be conducted through online.

There shall be negative marking in Online (Computer Based) examination and marks shall be deducted for each wrong answer @ 1/3 of the marks allotted for each question. The examination time limit is 120 minutes (i.e., 2 hours). In the examination, qualified candidates are called for the document verification.

Note : Candidates are not permitted to use calculators and other electronic gadgets. If candidate is found to possess mobile phone or any other means of wireless communication, working or switched off mode, his/her candidature shall be cancelled and he/she will be debarred from RRB examinations.
